Aileen Chapman - Family Law Specialist and Family Mediator

I qualifed as a solicitor in 1986 from Nottingham Trent University. I set the firm up in 1993 as I wanted to provide a good legal service to local people but in a friendly ‘non-stuffy’ way.  In addition to working at the office I also run a small livery yard, looking after horses for other people as well as looking after my own; I find that the physical work involved complements the office work. We also have three large dogs and a bossy cat so life can get very busy!

Joanne Fasey - Family Law

Hi, my name is Joanne Fasey. I qualified as a Legal Executive in 2009 and have over 5 years experience in all aspects of Family Law. I have been with QualitySolicitors Chapman & Chubb for over 5 years having previously worked for a criminal law firm in Derby.

I have recently acquired a Dalmation Puppy and am looking forward to talking her on long Derbyshire walks.

Rachel Polley - Wills & Probate and Personal Injury

Hello, my name is Rachel Polley. I qualified as a solicitor in August 1999 so I am going to be 12 years qualified this year. I trained in South Wales mainly in Personal Injury where I dealt with the Miner’s Industrial Disease claims. As a newly qualified solicitor I moved to a Sheffield law firm where I practiced Claimant and Defendant personal injury work. I then moved to a more local firm after having my children which is where I trained in Wills and Probate. I have been with QualitySolicitors Chapman & Chubb for over 3 years.

When not at work, I am looking after my 2 very lovely children and take them to their various swimming, Taekwondo lessons etc.  I like reading, films and walking dogs.

As yet, we do not know how 2011 will unfold for QualitySolicitors Chapman & Chubb but we do know that we will continue to provide a top quality legal service to all our clients. Christmas Curry

Colleagues, associates, friends and clients of QualitySolicitors Chapman & Chubb were invited to our annual Christmas lunch consisting of lashings upon lashings of curry supplied by Mrs Kaur from Leabrooks Chip Shop and other culinary delights. With drinks flowing, conversation flourished between people and new ties and ventures commenced.  The festivities were topped off with the usual mix of Christmas chart hits which had some guests dancing in the aisles! A lovely afternoon was had by all and we very much look forward to the event next year.

Christmas in Alfreton

We had the great pleasure of assisting the Alfreton Business Club with their Christmas event in Alfreton in December. Unfortunately, the event was cancelled due to the heavy snow fall but our ‘Spot the Santa’ quiz still continued. Many of the local businesses kindly donated prizes and window space in order to display our cheeky Santa.. Winners were announced on December 15^th and prizes handed out.  Due to the cancellation of the event, the Alfreton Business Club has some other ideas in the pipeline ready for Easter 2011….watch this space!!!

New Offices in Alfreton

We were extremely fortunate in 2010 to be able to expand our legal services into Alfreton. The new office is located at 5 High Street, Alfreton and is even open on Saturdays, making it easier for those who work week days to see a solicitor at a time that suits them!
