Praise for our conveyancers ...........
"Very efficient and professional. Also we were on a tight deadline (along with dates due to stamp duty changes) and the team worked long hours in their personal time to make sure we completed on time."

Buy to Let - Stamp Duty

George Osborne’s plans to impose a Stamp Duty surcharge on “Buy To Let” and other additional properties looks set to come into force on 1 April 2016.

Anyone buying a second property (which isn’t or doesn’t replace their main residence) after that date will be subject to a further Stamp Duty charge of 3% in addition to all existing Stamp Duty. This even covers properties over £40,000 which previously were exempt from stamp duty.
